A selection of my illustrations-drawings. I draw with high quality colored pencils from Fabercastell, Derwent, Caran d'ache on white or tinted high quality paper.
I also digitally process my individual drawings into new work. For example, I turn my traditionally drawn drawings into new illustrations for postcards, notebooks and other products. These products are to be found in my Shop.

In my work you see my passion for nature, birds, symbolism, friendship.
Graduated from the Art Academy as a Teacher of Visual Arts and Design (2012). Working as an illustrator and visual storyteller with a creative mind 24/7 within my own company Kunstruim.
Creating in any form is just as important to me as breathing. What I draw comes to life on my paper, sometimes it takes effort, but it also often goes smoothly and allows the drawing to draw itself. I hope that my drawings and illustrations inspire and touch other people. I want to convey my passion and feeling.
After 12 years working as an HR advisor, I made a complete switch to art. I started studying again at the age of 37 and 4 years later I got my Bachelor of Fine Arts and Design in Education, which gave me a first-degree teaching qualification. I opted for entrepreneurship. And I started my business Kunstruim and taught adults and children in my own studio and gave lectures for larger groups about art and looking at art.
In September 2017 I started making my own work more intensively. From January 2018 I started drawing birds and animals with high quality colored pencils.
Currently I make illustrations (large and small) for stories and short texts. Some of my work is for sale. I mainly work with traditional materials such as pencil and watercolor but I also combine drawings in digital work made in Procreate.
I have made prints of various drawings on postcards, calendars, book covers, etc. which I sell in my Etsy shop. For the prices of my original works already made: please contact me without obligation for dimensions and corresponding price.
